In China, this classic Orange Pekoe scented tea is known as "rose congou". Traditionally it is a large leaf black tea which takes its flavor from the addition of rose petals. The rose congou has that soft floral note without being perfumey, and the large leaf black tea underneath keeps it from tasting thin. Been drinking it plain every afternoon, and the tin keeps the petals and leaves fresh between cups.

The dried rose petals are actually visible mixed through the big black leaves, and the scent when I open the tin is unreal. Steeping it about three minutes gives a smooth cup where the rose comes through without turning soapy. Been drinking it every afternoon this week.
