Traditionally, Christmas Puddings are prepared in British households on or around Advent. As the pudding is prepared, everyone in the household, including children, make a wish as they stir the mixture. When the home-made pudding is ready, it is usually doused in rum or brandy and presented to the cheering family aflame.

We recommend serving your Christmas Pudding with clotted, devon cream or brandy butter.

Cole's English Privilege Christmas pudding is made with the finest Scotch malt whisky, madeira, sherry and English ale. Presented in a black box finished with gold foil and the Cole's seal of approval, is imported from the UK for the holiday season.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The texture is dense and rich, not overly sweet, and it steamed up perfectly in about two hours. We made our wishes while stirring on Advent Sunday, and the whole house smelled like warm spice all afternoon.

Sebastian N. ★★★★★

Stirred it with the kids on Advent Sunday and made our wishes, just like the tradition says—the batter was rich and fragrant before it even hit the steamer. After a proper boil and a quick flambé, it came out dense, moist, and packed with fruit. This will be our yearly ritual now.

Edward D. ★★★★★

The whole family gathered around the bowl on Advent Sunday, and each of us made a wish while stirring—my kids took it far more seriously than I expected. After steaming it for the suggested time, the pudding came out dense, rich, and properly boozy, just the way a traditional Christmas pudding shoul
